'Twas The Week After Quinzmas...
Hello world, hope your holiday season is treating you well.
We have finally woken up from from our week long post-Quinzmas hibernation (spent mostly on a sweet smelling bed of hibiscus petals), and we are ready to extend a huge thanks to everyone involved in our most successful Quinzmas yet.
So to everyone who we had the honour of sharing the stage with, to all the folks behind the scenes, and most of all, to everyone who came out to support us and make that crazy show possible.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! You all made it a night that none of us will soon forget.
Please keep your eyes and ears open in the new year as I'm sure Quinzy will be doing some pretty dang excitin' stuff.
And, if you need us, we will be sitting, laying, and generally lounging about, perhaps with drink in hand in front of a glowing screen (hello world junior hockey!)
Happy Holidays everyone
Love,
Quinzy

Quinzmas News!!
Hello everybody…
We just want to tell you that there is only one day left before Quinzmas VII. The show features us, of course, but also our dear friends House of Doc and our very special guest John Mann (Spirit of the West). In addition there will be a choir, horns, multi-media flash and bling, and as much Xmas cheer as you can stuff in one concert hall.
Saturday night’s performance (Dec 11th) is now SOLD OUT. But some tickets remain for Friday December 10th and you can still get them at Ticketmaster (
www.ticketmaster.ca) or directly from the WECC (
http://www.wecc.ca/) 586 Ellice Ave. Winnipeg. (204) 783-6918.
We look forward to seeing you at the show!!

December 3, 2010
Hi everyone – We’re just on the run right now, on our way to the CBC to perform a couple of songs in honour of ‘Harvest Day’. We’re hoping to help generate donations to the Food Bank, something that is always needed and is especially important as Christmas approaches. Winnipeg Harvest will be accepting donations in front of the CBC garages located on Young Street this afternoon from 3- 6 pm.
First thing tomorrow Quinzy jumps on a plane to Vancouver. We are headlining the Rogers Santa Claus Parade on Sunday morning, December 5th at 11 am, right downtown at the corner of Georgia & Howe on the Art Gallery grounds. This is a huge annual event that draws families from all over the lower mainland. We’ll be playing a set of Xmas material, much of it made up of songs written to celebrate Christmases (and Quinzmases) past! We look forward to seeing our friends in Vancouver – We haven’t seen you since the Olympics!
Speaking of Quinzmas – Be sure to get your tickets AS SOON AS YOU CAN. They are going very quickly and we’d hate for you to miss out. Quinzmas VII: December 10 & 11 at the West End Cultural Centre in Winnipeg, featuring House of Doc, a full-blown choir and horn section, and our very special guest John Mann (of Spirit of the West). Tickets available at the WECC (http://www.wecc.ca/) 586 Ellice Ave. Winnipeg. (204) 783-6918 or via www.Ticketmaster.ca
As if this isn’t enough stuff going on…We have released a brand new Xmas CD PLUS three new non-holiday ‘singles’ at iTunes and CD Baby. ‘FEAST: Live at the West End’ is an EP featuring live captures from last year’s Quinzmas celebration. The three new singles are: ‘She Just Made the Room a Stage’, ‘A Version of Me, A Version of You’ and ‘This’. Please visit iTunes of CD Baby to get your own copies of our most recent releases!
Quinzy has now officially managed to record and release 29 songs in 2 years, and we have also filmed 8 music videos, a TV Show, and have somehow managed to do all our laundry as well.
More as Quinzmas approaches. Have a great weekend, everyone!!!
